Si (Silicon) Compound

Silicon compounds are ceramics featuring electric insulation, heat resistance, oxidation resistance, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, arc resistance, and high thermal conductivity.
Silicon carbide features a high degree of hardness in addition to the above.
At Iwatani, for many years we have been providing silicon carbide and silica fume, which can be used as raw materials of industrial ceramics and refractory materials.
We also deal in silica stones as a filler material.
In addition, we deal in white carbon produced in India (precipitated silica) as a reinforcing material for rubber for eco tires and others.

Garnet Sand

Garnet sand features low dust generation, which offers a competitive edge in environmental terms. As a result, its use for shot blast is expected to increase further in the future.
We directly import river garnet sand, whose initial material is sand in India, and undertake inventory sales of the product in Japan.

Precipitated Silica/White Carbon

We deal in precipitated silica (white carbon) from Madhu Silica, who is the biggest manufacture in India.
Precipitated silica is used mainly as a tire reinforcing material.
Despite the purity of SiO2 being higher than 99%, precipitated silica is used as an alternative to carbon black, a representative raw material of rubber reinforcing materials. Products are used for a variety of applications.
